I started a blog because I thought I had worthwhile things to say and blogging was a way of expressing them. I haven't really got a particular target audience in mind, as I generally just write about whatever takes my interest at any point in time. Regardless, I do agree that you need to be regular, and you do need to engage with readers via responding to comments. Good post. It is really sad when I see blogs that I have been enjoying are no longer updating the content. Whatever be the reason, I hope they have been thinking twice before not updating, they should think about their readers too. I know how people can get addicted to some blogs..
